Marcus was born and raised in San Antonio as the youngest of four siblings by ten years. He grew up watching his family serve the community as firefighters, a nurse, a doctor and a teacher so the desire to pick a profession in the spirit of helping others was instilled in his heart at an early age.

His career in the financial services industry started in oil and gas in 2008. By 2011 Marcus joined one of the largest global wealth management firms and completed one of the most difficult comprehensive financial guidance programs in the industry.

Marcus’ experience spans across the financial management spectrum and includes life insurance, saving for retirement, 401k plans, college savings strategies and general wealth investment for high and ultra-high net worth families.

At home Marcus leads a big blended family of eight with his wife Alyssa. In his spare time, you can find him on a field or court of some sort rooting for his children perhaps a little too loudly. The weekends are never boring watching them take on football, basketball, baseball, soccer, cheer and lacrosse.
